I believe it was David Barrett that said that when he had Paul delay as a performer for one of his workshops all the other famous harp players there as instructors and performers wanted to know when he was playing. They universally recognized that he had unique approaches.

Paul had a way of playing lines that were not the same old same old, but came at you from different angles and were refreshing. (No OB's, either).


Boy did he ever!! I was just listening to "Hopefully" off of "Ocean of tears" - he plays on a Bb harp in second position - but it sounds NOTHING like most people's 2nd position work. When I heard it I thought it was such a wonderful example of creativity in second position that I should make a post about it. You gave me the invitation.
